The Guidance We Wish Every Investor Had From the Beginning

Los Angeles REIA was founded to close a gap that many investors experience: the distance between learning about real estate and knowing how to apply that knowledge in the real world.

Founder Sam Sadat spent decades building experience across investing, brokerage, lending, financing, mentoring, and real estate education. Much of what he learned came through trial and error.

Like many investors, he had to make important decisions without always having the right mentor beside him.

Looking back, Sam recognized that experienced guidance could have helped him reach certain goals sooner, avoid expensive mistakes, and navigate difficult moments with greater clarity.

Los Angeles REIA was built to provide investors with the support he wished he had at the beginning: practical education, honest guidance, access to experienced professionals, and a community committed to meaningful growth.

Experience Shaped by Opportunity, Adversity, and Reinvention

Sam Sadat immigrated to the United States as a teenager more than 40 years ago. He earned degrees in physics and engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

After working in engineering, Sam realized that his strengths were better suited to relationship building, business development, and helping people navigate complex decisions. He earned his real estate license and launched Aim Financial, which grew into one of the top-producing brokerage firms in Los Angeles.

In 1994, Sam experienced a major personal and professional turning point. The Northridge Earthquake destroyed his Santa Monica home and several investments.

Rather than rushing into his next move, he stepped away for nearly a year to reflect, meditate, and hike in the Rocky Mountains.

He returned with a clearer sense of purpose and founded Global Financial Network in 1996. The company grew into a leading funding firm, expanding Sam’s experience across lending, financing, and investment strategy.

In 2003, he established the Sam Sadat Real Estate Club to create a more practical and supportive learning environment for investors. He later developed VIP Mentorship Programs to provide more direct, hands-on guidance at an accessible price.

In 2023, Sam established the Greater LA REIA to be more accessible to those in the San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire, and Orange County.

Los Angeles REIA is the evolution of Sam’s Real Estate Club, not a replacement. It is a broader community designed to serve the education, networking, financing, mentorship, and strategic needs of real estate investors throughout Los Angeles.
